Someone in Bucharest asked me what's my favourite book ever. And without thinking I said Understanding Comics by Scott McCloud. And the more I think about it, the more I agree with myself. It's a completely brilliant book. It's funny, clever and wise. And it uses the form to discuss the form, which is always marvelous. Get yourself a copy.

There are some good sounding jobs floating around. You could be a customer insight leader in planning for Digitas Boston. Or you could be a planning trainee at ddblondon. Both good places to work and good jobs to have. I'd be very excited if someone who read about them here ended up with one of these jobs.
comfortable disorientation
Paul has raved to me a couple of times about how perfectly written and observed comfortable disorientation is. But I'd never checked it out until this evening. And he's right. It's brilliant. This post, chosen almost at random, is typically lovely.
