I'm rather keen to start another side bar linkset - planners who do stuff - and here's another example. Martin Cole has a rather splendid remix of a track by Headland; Monsters In A Shirt. You can get it from 7digital or with iTunes or Napster from here, for a very reasonable 79p.
If you're a planner who does something, and I think that means something I can link to that's not just a blog, ie you make or do something, you know what I mean. Email me and I'll stick you in the link.
I do music and remix stuff also: http://www.myspace.com/fireflowermusic
Which reminds me, I must put that page up with tracks on that I said id do for your podcast stuff!

Wonder how much of this is a generational thing? Planners of a certain age (lets' say circa 40 and over) barely blog it seems, let alone 'do' stuff. We entered employment thinking 1) that what you 'did' was planning, 2) that we were lucky to have such a cool job and 3) as the recession(s) kicked in, to think ourselves lucky we still had our cool jobs. 'Do'-ing wasn't on the agenda (or maybe that was just me!!). For a generation younger (lets say under 30...probably under 25), there's a completely different atttitude to the work, in the main born of necessity - you don't expect to stay in the same job/industry, may have fingers in lots of pies, and increasingly have the (digital) tools to do all this do-ing. Anyway, it's a theory.

(Sent an e-mail about this Russell, but I just read you're having problems with it).
I'm a fledgling planner who does: DJ around the world, remixes and original productions, has two record labels, throws events and shows in my home of Toronto, Canada.
