Everyone in the world has mentioned that Malcolm Gladwell is blogging. Which is great. But I'm equally delighted to find that Steven Johnson (author of Everything Bad Is Good For You and Mind Wide Open and Emergence and Interface Culture all of which are good) is doing it too. And has been for a while. Here's a lovely post about the unintended consequences of alphabetising your books.
I was lucky enough to see them both speak together at the Strand bookshop here in NYC a few months back. They're great thinkers that explain their topics in a way that even the most overloaded info-freak can understand..

This may seem counter intuitive, but since organizing my books by spine colour I can find what I'm looking for a lot faster. I stole the idea from Pentagram in NYC, but that's another story.
