I'm a female jr. planner in the US and my dept. is "bloke heavy," as it were, especially in senior positions. It seemed odd initially, but it's turned out to be a great experience. At uni, my classes always seemed to skew the other way, so interesting to work in a different environment. Plus, the blokes I work with are damn smart and pretty cool to boot (well, as cool as we planners can be). :)

I'm fully intending to come and up the female ante. Sadly not possible while I'm working Battersea. One day though.

no idea what paul must of said to me, but from the look on my face in that photo, it must have been something horrific.
