7am. I like that.

coffee morning for the early birds!

many thanks.

A.

It was wonderful to see you again as well! I met some really wonderful people that day that I am emailing back-and-forth with now; that IS the point of it, I think.

Sorry I didn't make the NY coffee morning. I wanted to and it would have been my first appearance, but it didn't seem to be confirmed anywhere on Russell's site or on likemind. Hope to get involved next time round.

It was interesting to participate in the different dynamics of it all. Saying hi to familiar faces and meeting a couple new people. Thanks.

Dallas, last friday.

Thanks, RD!

thanks for getting me out and kicking off a beautiful day by meeting some terrific people. working on getting us minnesotans together...somewhere skyway accessible of course.

I've added a new permanent spot on my front page to point to where we meet each week (since we move around).

Speaking of moving around, will we be seeing the London version of the Mexican wave this week? (like a bit of hot chipotle sauce on the bacon eggs & chips…)

a wave at 7am? unlikely. but you never know.

Don't you need more than two people to do a Mexican wave?

Nah. I reckon one is all you need. And a bit of nerve, mettle, pluck...

I am wanting to come to the coffee morning tomorrow. Just wanted to check it is still on? Do I have to sign up for it somewhere? (Also, I am not a media planner, but am interested in the area as far as I understand it - is it OK to come along and listen?)

Yup, still on. Everyone/anyone can come.

7 o'clock? Ouch. D&AD Claire was going to drag me along to this one, but it's a bit early for me. Will there be one a little later some time soon?

Hey Russell NY coffee was cool. Met some interesting people.

Thanks for organising it.

Best

The famous Russell Davies early rise.

Frankly I'd be more likely to make a saturday coffee in NYC than make 7am in Soho. And that was just as true when I worked in agencies. Plus I thought these gatherings were for people who didnt have proper jobs and hence needed the company...?

At least the coffee will be coming in handy
:J

Hey John,

I would have said the same but somehow I made it - lovely to see y'all btw - just because we have proper jobs doesn't mean we don't want to come play now and again ;)

Good work Faris. Excellent to see you too. Good turn-out this morning. Will post pictures etc later.

I didn't spot anyone with a proper job?
